Help us celebrate National Chocolate Day (July 7th) and dive into the delicious world of chocolate science in this hands-on STEM workshop! Kids will start by melting chocolate and pouring it into fun molds—learning how heat changes its shape and texture. As their creations cool, we’ll explore the question: What really melts or dissolves chocolate? Then we will test solubility and discover how different substances interact with chocolate.
Through this tasty investigation, children will explore phase changes, polymers, and chemistry—all while creating (and tasting!) science in action.
